Kisch Container International Field Tests

Three species of fruit were chosen to conduct field trials, in different international locations, to prove the reliability and viability of the KISCH CONTAINER, prior to commencement of a machine building program. The fruit choices were: Bananas, Oranges and Table Grapes

1.Bananas (refer compression testing)

Storing, ripening and shipping Bananas are, without doubt, one of the most challenging arenas for box design. The pack usually carries 40lbs or 20kgs of fruit and is ripened in cold rooms that have a relative humidity of up to 90%.The pallet load then has to withstand road trips which often involve long distances. Invariably the bottom 2 layers of boxes on the pallet stack start to collapse.
All trials showed no collapsing of the bottom layers
